'We were delighted when our school was chosen, and the week clearly lived up to our every expectation. The level of experience, care and professionalism of your staff was of a very high standard and it was clear that they had a strong understanding of the needs of the children in our group. The Trust has clearly learnt from years of experience and our staff were not able to compliment you enough on the levels of organisation in all aspects of the holiday. Just to let you know that when I went into work today I was approached by a social worker who has been working with Hayley since she was three years old. As you know, Hayley is an elective mute and had always refused to speak to her. When Hayley came back from the Harvest Trust holiday her social worker could not believe the change in her. She was confident, spoke to her and did not stop going on and on about the holiday. The social worker said she did not know how to put into words how dramatic the change had been for Hayley. When my friends used to tell me what lovely holiday they've had I thought they were making it up and I used to make things up to be the same. Now I could tell the truth this has been the most happiest time I've ever had I wish it could last a bit more Deni (age 11)

Harvest Trust does wonders for the children’s self-esteem and confidence. For most of the children it provided a far more stable and relaxed environment than they are normally used to.All the children still talk fondly of their holiday and want to go again. The benefits for the children who participated in the Harvest Trust Holiday are vast and varied. All the children's experiences were extremely positive, and so was the feedback from the families, with one mother saying "he's come back a different kid - what did you do with him?" We had a great time with you. The house was brilliant especially the playroom. At the sea was the best because we played frisbee and lots more. On Wednesday we had to count the steps to the beach to get an ice cream. That was the best. It was all never to forget and it was the best trip ever Javeria (age 10)
